Claricor is a mobile radio TETRA system, which is based on integration with the IP Protocol.
-
based on IP architecture
-
each base station is identified by its IP address

EADS offers a range of transit terminal switches DXTip (Digital Exchange for TETRA) and transit switches DXTTip (Digital Exchange for TETRA Transit type) to deploy TETRA systems of different scales. Transit terminal DXTip switch performs a switching function, manage the voice network calls and data transfer. This type of switches are connected to base stations, control stations, external telephone lines, communication lines with local and global data networks. Also DXTip can be connected to EADS CDD server (configuration and database server) and EADS TCS servers (TETRA interfaces server).
DXTip switch is available in 3 versions: DXTip 1-cabinet, DXTip 2-cabinet and DXTip 3-cabinet. These modifications have the same functionality, but different number of base stations, control systems and maximum subscriber capacity. Switches of small capacity (1 or 2 cabinet) can be upgraded to a higher level (2 or 3 cabinet) by adding new cabinet hardware or replacing the software. Therefore, EADS provides a cost-effective solution for deploying the network in the initial stage on a small scale and further expansion of it in the future.
DXTTip transit switch is the switch of a higher hierarchical level compared to DXTip. The presence of transit switch enables the deployment of EADS TETRA system at regional or national scale with multiple DXT switches. This is an optional element of the network, you can deploy a regional TETRA networks with the association of several transit terminal switches into P2P network.
Appointment DXTTip is the forming of a node routing voice and data traffic, alarms, etc. across the network of several DXT to improve the functional properties of the system, such as the duration of the establishment of the call, synchronization, optimization of routes, and can also be used for backup of the network database and the establishment of centralized network architecture.
DXTTip cannot be connected to base stations, but can be connected to control systems, control centres, external telephone networks, CDD and other servers.
DXTip and DXTTip switches are built on the EADS DX200 platform, proven high reliability and fault tolerance. All units have a switch redundancy 2N (hot redundancy) or 1+N (with load-sharing). The power layout provides the ability to connect it to two independent power sources. Failure of one of them doesn't affect the operability of the switch.

EADS TETRA (TBS) base station provides the radio interface between subscriber terminals and the TETRA infrastructure network commutation, data transmission and control. Signalizing of radio interface conforms to the ETSI300392-2 radio interface TETRA standard and supports the network operation of subscriber terminals of different manufacturers.
Nowadays the lineup of base stations consists of base stations for indoor installation:
-
TBS300i – frequency range RX:300-308 MHz / TX:336-344 MHz;
-
TBS380i – frequency range RX:380-390 MHz / TX:390-400 MHz TBS410i – frequency range RX:410-420 MHz / TX:420-430 MHz
-
TBS450i – frequency range RX:450-460 MHz / TX:460-470 MHz
-
TBS800i – frequency range RX:806-824 MHz / TX:851-869 MHz
-
And of base stations with the possibility of outdoor installation (temperature range -33…+55°С)
-
TBS410o – frequency range RX:410-420 MHz / TX:420-430 MHz.
Base station for indoor installation consists of one or two cabinets 1200 x 600 x 600 mm (height x width x depth), each of which can accommodate 1 to 4 of the TETRA transceiver. Base station equipped with a hybrid, volumetric or the ones with automatic tuning summarizers; inlet strainers and distribution frames; drop- insert multiplexer (3 input / output E1 G.703), the base station controller (redundant controller is optional), a unit of GPS synchronization (optional), power supplies -24/-48/-60 VDC or 230 VAC.
The base station transceivers have an output power up to 65 W, which provides output power of 25 watts on any frequency scheduling at the output of the TBS (TETRA class 2). Each base station transceiver in the TB3 form factor has 6 receivers, allowing you to connect up to 6 external antennas/antenna systems for diversity reception. The number of receivers is determined by software.
The base stations TBS EADS provide air interface encryption algorithms TEA1, TEA2, TEA3 and TEA4. The NTS infrastructure provides dynamic encryption with DCK and SCK static encryption keys.
In normal mode of operation, TBS EADS base station is connected to the DXTip switch. In this mode, all voice calls and data transfer is controlled by the switch. In the case of violations of the line, the base station goes offline, notifying the subscribers about it via SDS message. After the restoration of communication lines to the switch, the base station automatically switches to normal operation mode.
